Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect through the NutraEx website, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about it. It applies to website visitors and people who submit contact, formulation, sample, pricing, or technical-documentation requests.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the public NutraEx website and the inquiries submitted through it. NutraEx Food Inc. is the company responsible for that information.
The website is an information and inquiry service for food and beverage manufacturers. It is not a consumer store, and it does not publish prices or take online orders.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to send, and a limited amount of technical information needed to operate the website.
- Contact details you enter, such as name, company, email, phone, and role.
- Request details, such as an application, formulation goal, product code, sample or shipping information, pricing context, or the type of technical document you ask for.
- The page you submitted from, the referring page when the browser provides one, and campaign parameters if they are included with the submission.
- A session identifier and a form-security value stored in cookies so the site can keep a visit together and check that a form came from this website.
3. How We Use Information
NutraEx uses website information to:
- Review and reply to contact, formulation, sample, pricing, and technical-documentation requests.
- Confirm product, application, shipping, or document details before a sample, quotation, or document is provided.
- Operate, protect, and maintain the website and its administration area.
- Keep a record of the inquiry, including a timestamp when a form requires a confirmation checkbox.
When email delivery is enabled, NutraEx may send an acknowledgement to the email address you provide. Delivery depends on that mail service. This policy does not promise that an email will arrive.
4. Form and Inquiry Data
Submissions are stored in NutraEx's website database so staff can review them. The contact form collects the details needed to respond. The formulation, sample, pricing, and technical-documentation forms also require a confirmation checkbox. That checkbox records your understanding of the request. It is not a cookie banner, and it does not sign you up for a mailing list.
A sample request can include shipping details. A technical-documentation request does not itself release a document. NutraEx reviews document requests separately, and non-public technical files stay in controlled storage.
Staff accounts in the administration area are separate from public inquiries. Those accounts can use an optional second sign-in step. That step is not applied to website visitors.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The website uses cookies required to run it:
- A session cookie, so a visit, a form, and an administrator sign-in can continue securely.
- A form-security cookie used to check that a submission came from this website.
The public website does not include an analytics service, advertising pixel, or cookie-consent tool. NutraEx does not use this website to build a marketing profile of anonymous visitors, and product examples are not chosen from a visitor cookie.
6. Service Providers and Sharing
NutraEx uses service providers to host the website and, when email delivery is enabled, to send mail. Those providers process information only so the website and related messages can operate.
The public pages load the Nunito Sans typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google when it requests those font files. Photographs and illustrations on the pages currently shown to visitors are served by NutraEx. NutraEx does not control Google's own logs or policies.
Inquiry records are available to NutraEx staff who need them to respond. NutraEx does not sell website inquiry information. NutraEx may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the website, its users, or NutraEx from fraud or abuse.
7. Retention
NutraEx keeps submitted information for as long as it is needed to handle the request, keep a business record of the inquiry, and operate and secure the website. This policy does not state a fixed number of days or years. A public retention schedule has not been adopted for these website records.
You may ask NutraEx to delete an inquiry. NutraEx will review that request and explain if a record has to be kept for an active business or legal reason.
8. Security
The administration area uses role-based access. Administrator accounts can turn on a second sign-in step. Non-public technical documents are stored outside the public website. The site is intended to be served over HTTPS.
These measures reduce risk. They are not a security certification, and no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
9. Access and Privacy Requests
You may ask NutraEx for access to the personal information it holds from your website inquiry, and you may ask for a correction or deletion. Send the request to the contact details below and include enough information for NutraEx to find the inquiry, such as the email address you used.
NutraEx will respond in line with the privacy law that applies to the request. This page does not state that any one privacy statute applies to every visitor.
10. International Processing
NutraEx Food Inc. is located in Canada and supplies customers in Canada and the United States. Website hosting, and email delivery when it is enabled, are provided by service providers acting for NutraEx. Those providers may process information on their own systems.
This policy does not describe a separate cross-border transfer agreement. If you are contacting NutraEx from outside Canada, your information will be handled in connection with a Canadian business.
11. Changes to This Policy
NutraEx may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The effective date shows which version is current.
